FYI Medford Trash in yesterdays Burlington County Times

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Township Council of the Township of Medford, In the County of Burlington, will receive sealed bids at 11:00 am, prevailing time on October 30, 2008, at the Township of Medford Public Safety Building, 91 Union Street, Medford, NJ for a service contract for Automated Collection of Solid Waste for a Three Year Contract Years 2009-2011.

Copies of the Specifications and Proposal Form are on file with the Township Clerk and may be obtained at the Township of Medford Municipal Building, 17 North Main Street, Medford NJ 08055 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

All bids shall be submitted prior to the bid opening at the Township of Medford Municipal Building until10:30AM, on October 30, 2008 and from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, on October 30, 2008 at the Township of Medford Public Safety Building, 91 Union Street, Medford, NJ 08055.

All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder on the outside of the envelope to the Township of Medford and must meet the requirements specified in the bid packet. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bid proposals that may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.

A Pre-Bid meeting shall take place on October 9, 2008 at 11:00 am to describe the service, procedures, and other requirements. The Pre-Bid meeting shall take place at the Township of Medford Public Safety Building, 91 Union Street, Medford NJ.

If this works like it does in Gloucester county it will be great - ALL recycleables go in one large container.  Easy and clean. It will be a welcome change.
