Medford Preschools
« on: February 05, 2008, 07:01:55 AM »
Hi I am new to Medford and I have a three year old that I would like to enroll in preschool for the fall.  I would like to send him two mornings a week.  Can anyone recommend a preschool with a good reputation and decent tuition?  Thanks in advance.

Check out Calvery Lutheran (across from the WaWa on Rte 70) Little Christians.  They have the most wonderful Director and staff.

We use J&J on Route 70, next to the Car Wash.  They have an EXCELLENT reputation, and have been there for years.

Also, Chairville School has a pre-school program (1/2 day) that my daughter attended the first year they had it, and it worked out nicely. I don't recall the tuition, but it wasn't too bad.

Lenape Kiddie Kollege on Cooper Tomlinson Road in Medford. The school is wonderful. The teachers are warm and caring. The education is exceptional. They are great with working towards making your child feel welcome and comfortable in the school,so he or she can have a wonderful preschool experience. The staff  have pretty much been there for years, and really put there heart into their work. My godson had such a great time there, that he still  goes back to visit his old teachers. And he is in second grade now! He really connected with his first teacher-Miss Bonnie. She is a very sweet and compassionate woman, who adores her students. This is the kind of staff you will find in this preschool.I am not sure about the tuition, but I do know that it is worth whatever the price.Your child should have a memorable preschool experience if you send him there.

Just saw your post and thought I'd add my two cents.  Both my children went to Small World, which is located in the Presbyterian Church on Stokes Road.  (We are not Presbyterian and do not belong to that church, but this was never an issue.)  We had a WONDERFUL experience there.  My kids still talk about it and go back and visit their teachers.  The teachers are loving and caring, the facility is clean, well run and spacious, and they do some really neat things with the kids throughout the year.  Many friends and neighbors also had a great experience there.  They really prepared the kids well for kindergarten too! The administrators name is Barbara.

I used J&J....they had a very nice staff and have always heard a lot of great things about them. Plus, my kids really seamed to come back smiling and happy every time I picked them up  :)
